Retail Week has promoted Jennifer Creevy to the role of news editor.

Creevy, who was previously deputy news editor, replaces James Thompson, who has now joined The Independent as business reporter.

Amy Shields takes over as deputy news editor, and her previous role as chief reporter has not been directly replaced.

Retail Week is published by Emap Media, and has a circulation of 10683.
