Standard shares Lite sports editor
The Evening Standard has appointed Steve McKenlay as sports editor.
McKenlay already oversees sports coverage at free sister paper London Lite. He will now combine the role across both titles.
He replaces Martin Chilton, who left the Standard last year.
The Evening Standard has a circulation of 291,991, making it the biggest selling evening newspaper in the UK.
The London Lite is a freesheet distributed to commuters in Central London from Monday to Friday.
Both titles are published by Associated Newspapers.
