Streetgames appoints Capella

National sports charity StreetGames has appointed Capella PR in a year-long contract covering media and social media relations.

Capella's brief is to raise awareness of the benefits of StreetGames' Doorstep Sport Clubs, which range from StreetGolf to StreetDance, and takes place in communities across the UK. As well as targeting national, regional and local media, Capella will also run StreetGames' social media properties and assist with its internal and external communications via its website.

Launched in 2007, StreetGames is funded by Sport England, Coca-Cola Great Britain, The Co-operative and the Football Pools, and supports a network of projects which give sports and volunteering opportunities to young people in disadvantaged communities across the UK.
