Stuart Dinsey leaves Intent Media

Intent Media's founder and MD Stuart Dinsey has left the company.

The entertainment and technology trade publisher is actively recruiting a managing director to lead Intent Media and NewBay Europe. Michael French takes Dinsey's role of publisher for the games division, which includes brands such as MCV, MCV Pacific, MCV India, Develop, Games Media Awards and The London Games Conference.

Darrell Carter took over as publisher of MI Pro and Audio Pro International and Chris Dring editor of MCV in September.

Dinsey will continue in his role as chairman of the charity Gamesaid and has recently joined the board of digital games studio Curve and League One football club, Stevenage FC. He said: "For me, after 15 years, it's simply time to hand over the baton. I will always love Intent Media, but now is a good time for me to explore new interests outside the company."
