STV has appointed Katie Wood to present a weekly travel slot beginning in mid to late May on the 530 show.

As part of her new role, Katie Wood will be challenged by viewers to come up with three holiday choices to match their budget and aspirations, with destinations easy for Scots to access. Katie will be seeking contributions and ideas from PRs in future and should be kept in mind when issuing press trip invitations.

The show has a topical magazine format and in any month 30% of Scotland’s 5 million population will see the show, which is broadcast five days a week, 50 weeks a year.
