Sun on Sunday to launch this week

By Staff

20th February 2012

The Sun on Sunday will publish for the first time this Sunday, News International has announced.

The announcement comes after Rupert Murdoch’s visit to Wapping last Friday where he said the new paper would be coming “very soon”. He will be staying in London to oversee the launch of the new paper.

Sun Editor Dominic Mohan said: “This is a truly historic moment in newspaper publishing and I am proud to be part of it. The Sun’s future can now be reshaped as a unique seven-day proposition in both print and digital.”

There are no details as yet of any appointments for the Sun on Sunday.

More information on the title will be available on FeaturesExec shortly.
