Jon Ryan, sport editor at the Sunday Telegraph, has left after eight years at the paper.

Ryan’s departure comes just before former Sunday Times managing editor of news, Mark Skipworth, joins as head of sport.

Skipworth has been appointed head of sport at the Sunday Telegraph, Daily Telegraph and telegraph.co.uk.
