Sunday Times hires Mail on Sunday journalist

Jonathan Oliver, deputy political editor at the Mail on Sunday, has been hired as political editor of the Sunday Times.

Oliver will replace David Cracknell, who is leaving for a PR job with Financial Dynamics after six years as the Sunday paper’s political editor.

Oliver will work with the Sunday Times’s deputy political editor, Isabel Oakeshott, and associate politics editor, Marie Woolf.
