T3, the consumer technology brand from Future Publishing, has announced the launch of new channel CARS on its website

Geared to deliver insight and analysis around the technology built into major motoring launches, the channel will celebrate the future of motoring. It will deliver daily news, covering everything from cutting-edge concept cars to motoring gadgets to tech-savvy drivers.

The new channel will be complemented by the arrival of new tablet magazine special T3 DRIVE. The bi-annual tablet special available through Apple’s Newsstand follows the launch of monthly magazine section DRIVE.

The CARS channel launched on 12 April 2012 and T3 DRIVE is due to launch in mid-April.

Future Technology Group publishing director Nial Ferguson says: “The affluent, influential male T3 audience are huge motoring fans and are increasingly demanding that their cars are as connected to their digital lifestyles as their home and workplace. T3 has enjoyed a unique view of the intersection between motoring and consumer technology and we have been reporting on the increasing presence, importance and value of car tech for a long time."
