Telegraph appoints golf correspondent

James Corrigan, The Independent’s Cardiff-based sports writer, has been appointed as golf correspondent by the Telegraph Media Group working across both The Daily and The Sunday Telegraph.

He replaces Kevin Garside, who left The Telegraph last autumn to work for a sports management agency.

Corrigan will begin his new role in May.
