Telegraph Group combines coverage
Telegraph Media Group, owner of The Daily Telegraph, Sunday Telegraph and telegraph.co.uk, has announced plans to combine coverage of science, sport and religion across all three publications.
Science editor Roger Highfield and science correspondent Richard Gray, who were formerly based at The Daily Telegraph, will now contribute news and features across all three Telegraph titles. They will be assisted by health correspondent Kate Devlin.
In a similar move, Alison Kervin has been appointed as chief sports interviewer across the Telegraph Media Group. The role will see Kervin contribute features and interviews for The Daily Telegraph, The Sunday Telegraph and telegraph.co.uk.
George Pitcher has been appointed as religion editor across Telegraph Media Group. He has previously written for The Observer. Religious affairs correspondent Jonathan Petre left the company last month as part of a series of job cuts.
