The Daily Telegraph has appointed Nick Hoult to the new role of Twenty20 correspondent.

Hoult will produce daily print coverage including match reports and behind-the-scenes gossip about Twenty20, a new shortened cricket match format.

Boris Johnson, the Mayor of London, has returned to write a weekly column for The Daily Telegraph.

Johnson, who suspended his column in January to concentrate on his Mayoral campaign, will produce a weekly opinion piece for publication on Mondays or Tuesdays.
