Scottish PR consultancy, The BIG Partnership, was last night (Thursday 30 September) recognised at the Scottish Green Awards by winning the Best Green PR Campaign category.

The campaign, created for its client ScottishPower and entitled ScottishPower Story Swap Shop, was developed to highlight the company’s sponsorship of the Edinburgh Book Festival, to encourage literacy in schools and incorporate an environmental element to promote the energy efficiency message.

Alex Barr, director of The BIG Partnership, said: “This was a truly collaborative effort with our client to develop an innovative campaign with outstanding, high-impact results for ScottishPower, highlighting a strong, environmental message.”

The Scottish Green Awards promotes Scotland as a country that encourages sustainability, tackles climate change and is committed to improving energy efficiency.
