The Daily Telegraph appoints fashion editor

The Daily Telegraph has appointed Lisa Armstrong as fashion editor.

Armstrong will succeed Hilary Alexander in June when she joins from The Times along with her deputy, Luke Leitch. Leitch is The Times’ current associate fashion editor, feature writer and deputy features editor.

Alexander will be retiring from her post, but will continue to do some freelance work for the paper.
