The Government of Iceland appoints Burson-Marsteller UK
The Government of Iceland has brought in Burson-Marsteller UK for support on two key policy issues.
A blended public affairs and international communications team is leading a media and stakeholder programme.
Burson-Marsteller will work with the Ministries of Foreign Affairs, and Industries and Innovation, as well as the Icelandic Embassy in London.
Iceland is currently negotiating with other European countries over fishing rights for the mackerel stock in the North Atlantic. The fishing industry is a major economic sector for the country. In addition, Burson-Marsteller will assist Iceland with communications surrounding the country’s management of the 2008 banking crisis.
