The Guardian launches redesigned app

The Guardian has launched a redesigned app aimed at delivering a more personalised and engaging experience for its readers.

The redesign offers readers increased opportunities to interact with and be a part of the conversation by integrating GuardianWitness for the first time. Available across all Android and iOS phones and tablets running Android 4 and iOS 7 to download for free, the app will showcase Guardian journalism to readers across the globe.

The app is available via the Apple App Store and Google Play Store from 29th May 2014 and will sit alongside the Guardian and Observer Daily Edition.
