The Hoffman Agency has appointed Luica Mak as managing director of its European operations.

In her new role, Mak will oversee the management of the agency’s London office as well as spearheading its growth in Europe, taking advantage of its existing international reach in the US and Asia-Pacific.

Mak has PR expertise across corporate, business-to-business, digital and consumer communications. Her previous clients have included Microsoft, Xerox and Webjam.

Prior to joining the PR industry in the UK, Mak was a journalist and copywriter in Hong Kong, where she wrote for both traditional and digital media and helped organisations articulate their messages through TV, radio and print advertising campaigns.

With a heritage in the technology sector, The Hoffman Agency today focuses on markets of complexity: telecommunications, energy, water, and financial services as well as technology.
