The winners of this year's PPA Independent Publisher Awards were announced at a ceremony at Vinopolis in London on 6 December.

Conference News picked up the award for 'Business Magazine of the Year', whilst sister publication Exhibition World won 'Launch/Relaunch/Innovation of the Year'.

The award for 'Editor of the Year' went to Will Hatchett at Environmental Health News, and the 'Writer of the Year' prize went to Eoin Redahan who writes for the IOM3 Communications titles Materials World, The Packaging Professional and Clay Technology.
