The Sun appoints defence editor
The Sun has appointed Duncan Larcombe as defence editor.
Larcombe, who was previously a royal correspondent at the Sun, will be responsible for continuing the tabloid’s coverage of the Afghanistan war and its wider coverage of servicemen and their families.
He replaces Tom Newton Dunn, who became The Sun’s political editor after George Pascoe-Watson left the paper for a career in public relations.
