TheDailyEngineer.com has hired Edward Fraser as deputy editor.

The appointment is the latest move from the website towards increasing its news, video, blog and shop capabilities, following its launch in October 2009.

Fraser graduated from Loughborough University after completing a Publishing with English degree. His experience stems from employment history with Corus, working as a Communications Assistant in South Wales.

The growing site will now feature more news and video, with the editor, Charles Clayton, building a catalogue of text and video that is easily findable through search engines.
