Alexa Baracaia has been appointed as arts and entertainment editor at thelondonpaper.

She joins the paper from November 12, after three-and-a-half years as media and showbusiness correspondent at the Evening Standard.

Alexa will replace Lottie Moggach, who is leaving thelondonpaper to write a novel.
