Three editorial appointments at Independent News & Media (Dublin)

Independent News & Media (Dublin) has appointed Thomas Molloy as group business editor, Fionnan Sheahan as group political editor and Shane Doran as editor of The Herald.

Molloy has been acting business editor at the Irish Independent, and will oversee content across online and print platforms. Sheahan will manage a team of political journalists across their titles as well as online. He has served as political editor of the Irish Independent for the past six years. Both Molloy and Sheahan will cover all INM titles in ROI including the Sunday Independent, The Herald, Irish Independent, Sunday World and Sunday World Magazine.

Doran is currently executive editor at the Sunday Independent. He will replace Claire Grady, who is now editor of the Irish Independent print edition.
