Tom Baldwin made chief reporter at The Times
The Times’ Washington correspondent, Tom Baldwin, is to return to London to become chief reporter at the paper.
Baldwin leaves the post after nearly four years. He will be replaced by features writer, Giles Whittell.
There has also been another appointment at the paper, with Alexandra Frean being named New York business correspondent.
