Top Gear magazine has appointed Conor McNicholas as editor.

McNicholas leaves his editorial position at NME to join the monthly BBC title. He said of the move: “My twin passions are music and cars. To swap one dream job for another is a huge thrill…I’m looking forward to being at the heart of another iconic British multi-platform brand”.

A replacement editor at NME is yet to be announced. McNicolas’ official start date at Top Gear magazine has not yet been confirmed.
