TVHits, the website aimed at teens, closed on 2 January.

The daily website was published by Essential Publishing and edited by Fae Gilfillan. It covered news, reviews, gossip, interviews, competitions and posters for readers aged 11 to 13.

Gilfillan is now editorial assistant on Essential Publishing’s Period House, a monthly homes ideas magazine.

She replaced Rachel Jones who is now working on BANG Showbiz.
