York-based PR and marketing communications agency The Partners Group has recruited two new US members to the global PR network chaired by one of its directors.

The two new partners, Spiral Group based in San Francisco and Connect Communications in Chicago, join existing American partner DPK Public Relations in Texas to give the network coverage throughout the USA.

International Public Relations Team (IPRTeam) already has members in 18 countries spanning Europe, Asia and Africa.

Partners director and IPRTeam chair Karen Nixon says the new partnerships will ‘significantly enhance’ the network’s ability to support clients targeting the US: “The network provides overseas publicity support specifically for SMEs, whose needs and budgets don’t fit the client profiles of the big global agencies.”

The Partners team has worked on a number of campaigns with IPRTeam partners, including publicity support for the Australian Vivid Sydney festival and global communications surrounding the acquisition of a UK food ingredients manufacturer by a US rival.
