Umpf appoints new recruits

Following a period of expansion, Leeds-based PR and social media agency Umpf has appointed two new members of staff.

Pip Morrall and Tom Scott – who take the roles of account director and account executive, respectively – have both joined the Leeds-based team to work on Umpf’s consumer-facing campaigns for brands such as Glorious! Foods, bizzybee, Glen Dimplex Home Appliances and

Prior to joining Umpf, Pip spent eight years working on national and international campaigns for a host of food, third sector, health and lifestyle brands at various agencies, including The Red Consultancy in London. Tom graduated from Sheffield Hallam University in summer 2012, before working for the British Olympic Association during the 2012 games, moderating and generating content for the @TeamGB social media accounts.

The agency, which was founded by Adrian Johnson in August 2009, was recently named the 'Best Small Consultancy in the Yorkshire and Lincolnshire region' at the CIPR Pride awards.
