WAR wins design award for Powters packaging campaign
The award was given for WAR’s packaging and design work for client Powters Sausages. The new packaging is designed to be clean and cohesive, with a strong use of colour, and to clearly communicate the premium nature of the product.
The packaging allows customers to see the product via a cut-out in the shape of a pig, helping to show the freshness of the product, as well as being a nod to the original source. Each flavour is represented by a different colour, specifically designed to sit along side each other on the shelf.
Grant Powter, managing director of Powters, said: “I have been thrilled with WAR’s design work for Powters. The packs look great on the shelf and it is the most positive response I have ever had to new product packaging. The new design has led to increased interest from buyers and sales growth.”
