Western Gazette appoints Emma Slee as editor

The Western Gazette has appointed Emma Slee as editor.

Slee was previously head of content. She has worked in journalism for 17 years, having started her career as a trainee reporter at the Cornish and Devon Post Series. She joined Northcliffe in 2000 having secured the role of senior reporter/deputy news editor at the North Devon Journal. She was appointed head of content for the Western Gazette in 2008.

Slee will play a key role in the business moving forward, helping to further develop both the Western Gazette and www.thisissomerset.co.uk.
