Whiteoaks appoints associate director
Whiteoaks, a UK-based technology PR consultancy, has appointed Abigail Harrison as associate director to add momentum to its B2B social media and digital strategy.
She will focus on further defining, promoting and delivering the Whiteoaks digital proposition while developing and integrating impactful digital strategies for both Whiteoaks and its clients.
With almost 20 years of hands-on industry experience delivering award-winning results for leading global brands and with an extensive network of connections, including many industry leading practitioners, Harrison is well positioned to lead and support the Whiteoaks digital proposition.
Previously, she founded Somecomms’ Best Small Agency of the Year 2011, thebluedoor and one of the largest B2B social media networks #DigitalSurrey in 2009, which regularly attracts stand-out sector speakers such as Google, IBM and the BBC.
Harrison is on the organising committee to bring back the B2B Huddle at Oracle. Involved in the organisation of many high profile social media events, she co-led the team responsible for bringing TweetCamp back to London in 2011. Always keen to promote technology as a vital part of today’s society and economy, she is also an advisor for The <goto> Foundation UK.
