Willoughby PR celebrate triple client wins

Willoughby PR’s Retail PR team is celebrating after winning two well known retail accounts as well as retaining the Sharps account for an eighth year.

Following a competitive pitch, the agency has been appointed by high street brand Regis hair salons to help drive footfall across the UK, raise awareness of the brand and work with the in-house team to retain and reward existing clients. The team has already started work on the account.

One of the UK’s top shopping centres, Lakeside, has also appointed WPR to work on a Summer holidays project, highlighting the centre as a complete summer destination for food, fashion, entertainment and more as the centre celebrates its 21st birthday this year.

In addition, WPR has already been reappointed by the Sharps brand following the collapse of the Homeform Group last month. Sharps has been bought out of administration and has asked WPR to continue to support the brand’s fitted bedroom and home office ranges through a national campaign, as well as continuing to provide local level support for the 96 stores around the country.

Jane Ainsworth, managing director at Willoughby PR said: “We are delighted to add such high profile brands to our retail and leisure division, and to continue what has been a very strong partnership with Sharps. This proves that now more than ever, retail brands need to think hard about how PR can help to boost sales.

Willoughby PR is a 30 strong Midlands based traditional and digital PR agency, working for clients in the UK across print, broadcast, digital and social media channels.
