The winners of the MJA Winter Awards 2012 were announced at a ceremony at the King’s Fund in London on 25 January.

Reuters correspondent Ben Hirschler scooped the award for Investigative reporting/scoop (consumer print/online), whilst Beth Eastwood, producer of Unconscious and Pregnant, won the Explaining Medical Science (broadcast) Award.
