IPC has appointed Diane Kenwood as editor of Woman’s Weekly.

Kenwood has worked in broadcasting and magazine journalism for many years. Previous employers include BBC magazines, Natmags, H Bauer and most recently the Redwood group. She has also presenting and produced a wide range of programmes from Radio 4’s Woman’s Hour to Travelog on Channel 4.

Kenwood said: “I’m absolutely thrilled to have the opportunity to work on such a successful and long-standing title and to be able to take it on to the next exciting stage in its development. I’m really looking forward to working with the team to make the magazine bigger, better and even more enjoyable.”

Kenwood took up her role on 3 December.
