Media trainer Susan Grossman will be running her next ‘Pitching to Editors’ workshop on 1 July at the Royal Institute of British Architects, London W1.

The workshop will feature small group work (max 12) for those looking to get motivated, develop ideas and work on pitches. It will also include advice on how to make stories topical, find new outlets and approach editors with confidence.

Grossman is a VL on the MA in journalism at Westminster University, a former BBC broadcaster, magazine editor (Redwood) and travel writer.

Johanna Payton and Olivia Gordon – 6 June onwards – Ideas & Pitching – correspondence – Cost: £250.00

Aimed at journalists of all levels who want to learn or improve pitching skills, this four-week course offers its students highly personalised, detailed individual feedback for their practical assignments.

The course is completed remotely, with detailed notes emailed on Monday mornings, and during the course trainees have access to a forum where they can share ideas, concerns and questions with the other course members.
