WPR adds three new brands to its roster of clients
Willoughby PR has added three new brands to its portfolio of clients; commercial kitchen manufacturer Electrolux Professional, Washington Green Fine Art (including its retail arm, Castle Galleries) and Leekes, the family owned independent department stores.
Electrolux Professional foodservice, which manufactures complete, high performance commercial kitchens for the likes of restaurants, hotels, schools and prisons has appointed WPR’s foodservice team to maximise exposure of Electrolux Professional and its products. Using their contacts in the relevant trade publications, the team will be providing an ongoing press office service as well as additional support around product launches, major events and internal communications.
Work is already underway for Castle Galleries, who tasked the agency’s retail and leisure team with launching well known comedian Billy Connolly’s first ever collection of art – within a week of appointing them. WPR will now continue to work with the company on a retained basis to raise the profile of the brand and position high street art as being accessible to all.
The agency’s retail and leisure team has also been appointed by retailer Leekes, which sells furnishings, accessories and home improvement products. The team has been briefed to raise awareness of the brand, drive footfall to its Midlands based department stores and support the launch of a new flagship store in the region this Summer.
Jane Ainsworth, managing director commented, “This year, WPR is celebrating 20 years in business and winning these new accounts has been a great start to what we hope will continue to be an excellent year for us. The retail and foodservice teams are very much looking forward to working with the brands on what promise to be some very exciting and interesting campaigns.”
