The following writers have joined Education Journal (EJ): Diane Hofkins, former Primary editor of the TES and editor of TES Primary; Ian Nash, former Further Education editor of the TES; Frances Rafferty, former news editor of the TES; Susan Young, former assistant editor and news editor of the TES; Wendy Berliner, former acting editor and deputy editor of the TES and former editor of the Independent’s Education Supplement as well as former education correspondent of The Guardian.

Other writers joining the title include Mike Baker and John O’Leary. Baker was formerly education correspondent at the BBC and is now also a contributor to the Guardian and Teachers TV. O’Leary is editor of The Times Good University Guide and former editor of the Times Higher Education Supplement.

The incoming staff join two other regulars on the monthly title, John Izbicki and George Low. Izbicki was former education editor of The Daily Telegraph and a former columnist on The Independent. Low is former editor of Education and Education Journal and previously with The Guardian.

Educational Journal is a monthly magazine, aimed at those who work within children’s services and child education, published by Education Publishing.
