YQ Northwest acquired by Regional Magazine Company
Regional Magazine Company (RMC) has acquired monthly magazine YQ Northwest from the publisher of the same name.
The lifestyle magazine will retain the same look and cover the same features as before, and also incorporate RMC’s Moving House. The magazine covers Cheshire, Lancashire, Manchester and Merseyside in the North West and will now be designed in Sheffield.
Editor Kerry Spencer has left the title and is succeeded by Chris Wilson. Wilson is also managing editor of RMC’s other titles Northside, Eastside, Westside and Southside, and Sixer and Image Magazine.
RMC managing director John Murphy said: “YQ is a fantastic publication. We were attracted by the quality of its production, content and the strength of the brand. For a local magazine in the North West it really is out on its own.”
