New Organic Spiced Sea Salt With Fair Trade Mix
Multi-award winning Halen Môn (Anglesey Sea Salt Company) has chosen the Speciality and Fine Food Fair in London from September 2-4, stand number 934, to launch two new products, including its first seasonal flavour organic sea salt.
Fleur de Sel has been created to enhance seasonal British produce whilst a finer sea salt has been developed for those who prefer to add their salt at the table with less of a crunch!
“All the products are being market tested, so we are especially keen to invite customers to taste them and give us their feedback,” said Alison Lea-Wilson, who runs Halen Môn with her husband, David.
The innovative company will also be trialling new recipes for its popular Organic Spiced Sea Salt, including a superb roasted Fair Trade mix, at the Speciality and Fine Food Fair. Halen Môn’s new products will be on display at the Anglesey in the Welsh Deli Showcase Stand 934 under the Welsh Assembly Government’s True Taste banner at the Olympia event.
“We are hoping to present the new recipes on ‘Naked Piper's’ crisps made especially for us by our friend Alex Albone,” added Alison.
Also on display will be Oak Smoked Halen Môn, a Guild of Fine Foods Great Taste Award Gold winner this year. Made by gently infusing smoke from Welsh oak chippings, the smoked sea salt is recommended for use with steak, fish and poultry or as a dip for quail’s eggs.
Every order placed at the show will receive Halen Môn’s new point of sale free of charge, ensuring that the company’s quality products fly even faster off the shelves.
Established in 1997, Halen Môn harvests top of the range organic sea salt for the UK and export markets from its base at Brynsiencyn, Llanfair PG.
