Fellows Launches Dedicated Watch Auction Website
Fellows & Sons, auctioneers and valuers in Birmingham’s Jewellery Quarter have launched a new website for watch buyers and collectors.
www.watchauctions.co.uk was launched due to the increasing popularity of Fellows’ Wrist & Pocket Watch auctions, and growth and demand in the watch market. Featuring information on top brands such as Rolex, Omega, Breitling and Tag Heuer to name just a few, the website will also showcase upcoming items and watches recently sold at auction with descriptions and estimates. It will be an invaluable reference to anyone interested in fine watches.
Fellows & Sons, Managing Partner, Stephen Whittaker said: “Watch auctions are a great way to add more watches to your collection – they are the ultimate man’s accessory. It’s more than just about telling the time, it can tell a lot about the man wearing it.”
Some of the highlights in the next auction include a Vacheron Constantin Regulateur Chronometer, estimate £7,000 - £10,000; a Breitling Cosmonaute Navitimer, circa 1968, estimate £800 - £1,200 and a Rolex Cosmograph ref 6265 circa 1970, estimate £15,000 - £20,000.
Fellows hold four specialised auctions of Wrist & Pocket Watches per year with additional fortnightly auctions of Secondhand Jewellery & Watches.
The next auction of Wrist & Pocket Watches will be held on Monday 19th October at 11am. Visit www.watchauctions.co.uk to view the catalogue and place bids online.
