Do you write about Education & Training?

  • Monday, 21 April 2008

Journalists have long been frustrated trying to find out what’s going on in education and training, especially finding out the real news at the ‘chalk face’. Now a new FREE service to help education PROs post their news to the world is being offered, thanks to EMPRA.

EMPRA (education marketing and PR assoc.) has added a new tool to its website for journalists and other interested parties to view, education and training PROs can upload a press release onto the site (FREE) and an RSS feed ensures subscribers get the news as soon as it’s posted.

EMPRA is the brainchild of Ruth Sparkes, PR manager for one of the UK’s largest colleges, she said: “I set up EMPRA about 18 months ago and we now have 835 subscribers, EMPRA is free to join and offers a great deal of information and support to those working in education marketing and PR.”

Ruth set up this new service to help bring the PROs and journalists together, Ruth says; “There are some incredible stories within our sector; personal, emotive and in some cases sensational, and we need to get better at spreading the news, I hope this new service on EMPRA really helps PROs make some good contacts with journalists and vice versa.”

Why not visit www.empra.co.uk now and add the RSS feed to your home page?
