Know Your Mobile relaunches

Know Your Mobile has announced a relaunch of its website.

The site has undergone an entire makeover including changes to its logo, colour scheme and layout. The relaunch also sees its migration over to the Drupal platform, which boasts faster load times, cloud hosting and no design restrictions.

Changes to the website design include a clearer homepage layout, detailed reviews, social networking options for all articles, device comparison tables and a new commenting platform.

In order to further build its community, the site has adopted Disqus as its comments platform allowing social network logins such as Facebook or Twitter.

Clare Hopping, group editor of Know Your Mobile, said: “Know Your Mobile's move to Drupal adds an enormous amount of flexibility both in terms of editorial and commercial opportunities. Not only does it look great, it also brings Know Your Mobile into the 21st century with reader commenting, rich multimedia, improved navigation and better article signposting.”

The design will be rolled out to the other brands under Know Your Mobile (Viva Celular, The Full Signal and Know Your Mobile India) in the coming weeks.
