Four acquires Kinross+Render
Four Communications has acquired B2B and technology relations firm Kinross+Render (K+R).
Four has acquired one hundred per cent of K+R in a cash and equity deal. The company will merge with Four’s corporate & crisis PR practice and the combined team will be led by K+R’s chief executive, Sara Render. The K+R team, which has already relocated to Four’s Leicester Square HQ, works with clients including Ordnance Survey, Interface, Paessler and the Corporate IT Forum.
As part of the K+R deal, Four has also acquired a stake in ECCO International, the 32-country international public relations network. Render remains chairman of ECCO which will become a major driver of future growth for the Four Communications Group.
As well as leading Four’s corporate PR, business & technology PR practices and ECCO, Render also assumes responsibility for business development across the Four Communications Group and will sit on the group operating board. She comments: “I am extremely proud of Kinross + Render’s 26 year history of award-winning work and of the many amazing PR people who have worked for the consultancy over the years. It was time, however, to take on a new personal challenge and to give a first-class staff a bigger platform on which to develop what I know will be stellar careers. Four was a natural home; fantastic work and extremely nice people. Equally importantly, we bring real value to the group.".
