Sky News appoints economics editor
Ed Conway has been appointed to the new role of Economics Editor for Sky News.
Conway will join Sky News’ business unit and will bring viewers the latest news and analysis on the UK and global economy.
His reports will feature heavily across Sky News’ business bulletins and he will contribute regularly to Jeff Randall Live on weekday evenings (7pm to 8pm). He will also play an integral role in Sky’s coverage of major landmark stories throughout the year including the Chancellor’s Budget, and pre-budget report.
For the past year Ed has been on a Fulbright Scholarship at the Kennedy School of Government at Harvard. Prior to this he was Economics Editor at The Daily Telegraph and before that Economics Correspondent at the Daily Mail.
Conway will also create content for Sky News’ multimedia platforms including skynews.com, Sky News Radio and Sky News for iPad. He starts his role in August.
