The Chartered Institute of Public Relations has launched the Future Leaders Forum, an intitiative to provide talented young PRs with “a voice and a mechanism to influence PR policy and other issues that impact the future of our profession”.

The Forum, which will hold its first meeting at the end of September, will be led by Tracy Playle, director of Pickle Jar Communications and Chair of the CIPR Education and Skills sector group.

The Forum’s founder members will be the 2009 finalists from the Outstanding Young Communicator category in the regional CIPR PRide awards and the national CIPR 2010 Excellence Awards.
