Scotsman to lose senior assistant editor
David Lee, senior assistant editor at The Scotsman, is leaving at the end of the month.
Previously news editor and assistant editor at the paper, Lee’s most recent responsibilities include The Scotsman’s opinion and professional pages (law, medicine, education, etc).
He also edits Recommends, a weekly supplement comprising theme-based reader suggestions and has edited the paper on Sundays for the last year.
From the first of next month, he’ll be working as a freelance media consultant, including hosting events and debates for some of the partners he has worked with over the years.
