Daily Mail deputy retires after 35 years
Alistair Sinclair, deputy editor of the Daily Mail, is retiring from the paper after 35 years.
He will leave at the end of May after 11 years as deputy editor.
Jon Steafel, who was appointed joint deputy editor of the Daily Mail in 2005, retains the post but it is not known whether Sinclair will be directly replaced.
Sinclair became deputy editor of the Daily Mail in 1998, succeeding Peter Wright who became editor of the Mail on Sunday.
