Al Jazeera and The Independent have announced a new partnership that will bring Al Jazeera English video news bulletins to the newspaper’s website, Independent.co.uk.

The bulletins feature streamed content from Al Jazeera’s news centres in London, Washington, Kuala Lumpur and Doha, Qatar.

Making Al Jazeera content more accessible to international audiences through different distribution channels has been a stated priority for the news service, which launched its English version in 2006.
