BBC One to relaunch Sunday Morning Live
BBC One is to launch series five of Sunday Morning Live on 22 June with former BBC Breakfast anchor Sian Williams joining the programme as presenter.
Sunday Morning Live is an ethical, religious, and current affairs programme which began in 2010 and was originally presented by Susanna Reid. The latest series will have a refreshed set and will move from Belfast to London, where it will be broadcast from The One Show studio at New Broadcasting House. The programme's production base, however, will remain in Belfast.
Williams will chair topical discussions with a panel of guests and also conduct single interviews. Content introduced to the programme this series will include regular live outside broadcasts with people from around the UK, in an attempt to gain insight into the national mood on key stories.
Sunday Morning Live will have a run of 19 episodes, airing weekly at 10:00 from Sunday 22 June. The programme's editor is Dave Stanford.
