What is the aim of your publication?
Primary Care Today aims to inform and involve professionals from the primary care sector by giving them news from within the industry as well as providing a platform from which to write about the latest developments.

Who reads it and how many of them are there?
Primary Care Today is distributed by name to members of NHS Trusts, NHS Alliance, Primary Care Trusts and has grown to include Pharmacy Groups, Dentistry, Purchasing Groups, Complimentary Associations and other healthcare groups.

What subjects do you cover?
Primary Care Today covers the latest news in the industry as well as running features on topics such as clinical conditions, communications, complementary therapy, conferences/events, finance, hygiene, ICT, legal, mental health, nursing/midwifery, nutrition, pharmacy, practice issues, recruitment, security, substance abuse, training, travel health and treatments.

What makes you different from the other publications in your sector?
Our close partnership with the NHS Alliance, our features led format and our targeted mailing list.

Do you produce a features list? Why? Why not?
We produce a forward features list for each issue in order to allow people within the industry and PRs to suggest relevant articles in advance.

An email explaining what their client does, their specialities and any topics that they feel they can write on.

When is the best time for PRs to contact you & what is your deadline for contributions?
The best time for PRs to contact us is the beginning of the month. The deadline for contributions is generally at the end of the month but this varies depending on the issue.
