Cambridge Airport appoints Four bgb to handle its UK PR
Cambridge Airport has appointed Four bgb to handle its PR in the UK following a successful three-way pitch.
Commencing work with immediate effect, Four bgb will be providing PR support to the airport over the next three years as it begins to re-introduce and further develop passenger air services.
Four bgb will be providing both consumer and B2B PR support to the airport as it starts introducing European short-haul operations to both popular and niche business and leisure destinations by quiet, comfortable and efficient regional aircraft types.
The airport will be launching the first in a range of new regular airline services on 12 May 2012, with a re-opening of the popular route between Jersey and Cambridge operated by Channel Islands carrier Blue Islands. This will be closely followed by the UK launch of services by European regional airline Danube Wings, commencing a new and unique twice-weekly scheduled airline route to Dole-Jura, near to the major cities of Dijon and Besançon in eastern France and providing the first scheduled air service from Britain to the acclaimed wine-making regions of Franche-Comté and Burgundy.
